How It Works:
Participants riding a CATS bus route or the LYNX Blue Line are to punch out the date of use prior to boarding.
This will serve as your proof of payment for ONE ROUNDTRIP per person valid on the one date you have punched out on your card.
A roundtrip pass is valid for one ride to and from your destination. When riding a CATS bus, please show this pass to the operator. When riding the LYNX Blue Line, please have this card available to show a CATS Fare Inspector. CATS Fare Inspectors and police officers will check for valid tickets and passes on trains, so please keep your card with you at all times. Transferring to a higher priced service, such as Express or Express Plus routes, requires a small charge when boarding that service.
Remember you mustpunch out the date of use prior to boarding any service in which you plan on using thispass. Failure to possess a valid ticket or pass could result in a citation of $50 and you may face a class 3 misdemeanor charge.
